Description:
Retrofitting tillage implements with depth monitoring sensors (appropriately calibrated) allows determining the actual cultivation level at each point of the field with several centimeters accuracy.
The sensor (ultrasonic radar) measures the distance from the seeding platform to the ground. The lower the platform, the greater the seeding depth. Ground undulations or weather do not affect the sensor data recorded during the vehicle movement.
